Camouflage and Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg:

During 2013 Camouflage are celebrating their 30 year anniversary as a band. Camouflage has recorded a track in cooperation with the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg and is giving this as a gift to their fans. In "Camouflage Overture" familiar melodies from seven Camouflage songs have been woven together. Do you recognize all the songs? Have fun listening and guessing!

In early 1984 Heiko, Oli, and Marcus gave their first live concert and also changed their band name from their original "Lizenced Technology" (founded 1983) to "Camouflage". To celebrate the 30th stage anniversary of these milestone events Camouflage has scheduled an anniversary concert for February 8, 2014 at the Dresden's Eventwerk. Tickets for this event are already available through Eventim for 30.95 Euro. Further details about this concert will follow.

For the second show in Buenos Aires, "Every Now and Then" on May 12th, Camouflage will perform different versions and songs that will only be performed on this night of the tour.

Camouflage will perform on July 13, 2013 as a headliner at the Nordstern Festival in the Hamburg Stadtpark. Other bands scheduled to perform on this evening include among others De/Vision, Diary of Dreams, Zeromancer and others. Day tickets start at 37,90 Euro. On June 15, 2013, Camou will perform in Neuenhagen near Berlin at the "Sommerwind Openair". The concert beginns at 8:30 in the evening and tickets cost in advance 27 Euro. Info at: www.arche-neuenhagen.de

Additionally, Camouflage will perform in on September 8, 2013 in Deutzen, south of Leipzig at the "Nocturnal Culture Night" Festival. There are several options for tickets. A ticket for only the day of Camouflage's performance costs 33 Euro. More information at: www.nocturnal-culture-night.de

The event scheduled for August 11, 2012 at Königstein Fortress near Dresden (Germany) has completely sold out. No tickets will be available at the box office for the event. Tickets for the "World Violation" after-show party are still available at select ticket outlets.

After "The Wave" and "We Are The Night", "The Fourth State" is now the third collaboration between Heiko Maile and director Dennis Gansel. The goal was to create music that was modern, suspenseful, and atmospheric, but that would also convey a certain sense of Russian melancholy. Along with a mix of orchestral strings, electronic instrumentation and guitars, additional instruments including cymbals, accordion, and numerous isolated flute sounds were implemented.
Starting tomorrow, March 8, 2012, the film will play in German theaters with Moritz Bleibtreu taking the main role in the film. The Original Soundtrack composed by Heiko Maile will be released on Friday, March 9, 2012 and will be available on CD and as a digital download. Heiko devoted an additional 3 weeks to mix and optimize the score as a stereo version. The Mastering was completed separately by Sven "Samson" Geiger of Neckarklangwerke. For the final technical sound polish, the completed digitally mastered recordings were copied to an analog one inch wide stereo tape reel. The result is a very fine and natural sounding auditory impression.

Camouflage will play at the Festung Königstein, in Königstein near Dresden (Germany) on August 11, 2012. In connection with the concert there will be a "World Violation" after-show party. Tickets and combination tickets that include bus transfer from the Dresden train station are available to order at www.violation.de. On March 24, 2012, Marcus Meyn will also attend as guest DJ at the World Violation Party at the Eventwerk in Dresden (Germany).
