For the 8th Amphi Festival in Cologne (Germany) on July 21-22, 2012, Camouflage is confirmed to perform along with other confirmed acts Sisters Of Mercy and DAF. Tickets are available at TicketOnline, Kartenhaus / Ticketmaster and Eventim CTS outlets.

As part of the 11th anniversary of the Leipzig (Germany) scene club "The Dark Flower" Marcus Meyn (and others) will appear as a guest DJ on September 10, 2011. The celebration will include 100 liters of free beer and other drink promotions, a prize wheel and other promotion prizes, a pre-listening party for the new De/Vision album "Popgefahr - The Mix", and much more. Doors open at 8:00pm. Cover charge is 5€

On June 12, 2011, Pentecost Sunday, Camouflage will play live in Leipzig (Germany) at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Hall 15 of the "Alte Messe". Camouflage will take the stage at 10:20pm and will be the final performance on this stage where other bands including Blind Passengers, The Twins, and Assemblage 23 will perform earlier that day.

On Friday and Saturday Marcus Meyn will DJ at the Dark Flower and at the "Agra Halle 4.2". The full event program for the WGT is available at www.wave-gotik-treffen.de.

Unfortunately we have been forced to cancel our concert in Sofia (Bulgaria) on 17th March 2011. The local promoter is not in a position to realise the planned concert and secure the costs ensuing from this. The responsibility for this lies solely with the event organiser. CAMOUFLAGE

Camouflage will play live at the 20th Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig / Germany. This year the WGT will be from 9th June 2011 until 13th June 2011.

Again this year Heiko Maile sends you a special christmas greeting. This experimental track was recorded in one day between 1992 and 1993 by Camouflage and Dan Lacksman.

Während der Recording Session für "Bodega Bohemia" in Brüssel, hatten wir eigentlich einen freien Tag geplant, aber letztendlich sind wir dann doch wieder mit Dan Lacksman in seinem "Synsound Studio" gelandet. Aus einer spontanen Idee heraus, nahmen wir uns vor, einen kompletten Track an diesem einen Tag zu erarbeiten und fertig zustellen. Zu dieser Zeit waren in vielen aktuellen Dance Tracks gerade Techno-Synthi-Riffs angesagt, worüber wir uns ehrlich gesagt auch immer ein bisschen lustig gemacht haben. Das war dann auch unsere Ausgangssituation. Ein paar Sprachsamples, die dem einen oder anderen sicher aus unserem späteren "Spice Crackers" Album bekannt vorkommen werden, brachten uns auf die Idee, in dem "Songtext" auf die wichtigsten Module eines analogen Synthesizers einzugehen. So kommen VCO, Filter, Resonanz und LFO endlich mal in einem Song vor - jeweils gefolgt von einem akustischen Beispiel. Ein kleinen Spass haben wir uns dann auch noch mit der Bezeichnung "VCS 3" gemacht - das ist nämlich die Typenbezeichnung für einen der ältesten und kultigsten Synthesizer aller Zeiten, den EMS VCS 3. Mit diesem Gerät bastelten wir auch die meisten der Synthesizer Sounds für diesen Song. Die Vocoder Stimme ist durch die Bearbeitung von Marcus Stimme entstanden, übrigens mit einer nicht weniger raren Maschine - dem Sennheiser Vocoder , das "Grundgerät" des Stimmen Sounds aller alten Kraftwerk Platten.

CAMOUFLAGE wish you aMerry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Camouflage will be on stage during three festivals during the summer season this year. Beginning with the Anorak Festival in the port city of Kavala in northern Greece on June 11th and 12th. Camouflage will perform here on June 12th. The festival begins both days at 6:00 in the evening and costs 40 Euro at the gate. Entrance price for both days of the festival is 60 Euro.

Camouflage will perform again in Germany on Friday, July 16th in Hamm (Nordrhein-Westfalen) at the market square during the Hammer Summer Festival. Beginning at 7:00 in the evening with free entrance!

Another concert performance in Germany is scheduled for July 24th and this in form of a true homecoming as part of the Stuttgarter Heimspiel Festival at the Cannstatter Wasen. Camouflage will appear among other bands including the Fantistischen Vier and Ich+Ich. The event beginns after 12:00 noon. Tickets are available for 67 Euro prior to the Festival.
